Project Architect

email: jtifrea@ids-a.com

Jan is Ojibwa, Potawatomie and Mohawk and has over 20 years of experience working on medical, commercial and educational projects around the country and in the Middle East. She has worked on very large projects and very small rural projects. The project types were new facilities to renovations, from patient rooms to loading docks. The Middle East project design and planning effort was interesting because cultural differences guided the effort. Jan was active with the Native community serving on the Detroit American Indian Center Board of Directors and the American Indian Health & Family Service Center in Detroit on the Advisory Board. She is also a Member of the Board of Directors for the American Indian Council of Architects and Engineers. While living Dallas Jan worked with high school students in the ACE mentor program (Architect Construction Engineers)
