Ashwan comes from the Pueblo of Santo Domingo where he experienced the sense of community, culture influence, and the natural environment while living within the Pueblo. Understanding the importance of these elements and worldviews, he wishes to incorporate the elements into architectural design to create deep rotted architecture for indigenous communities. He graduated from the University of New Mexico in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and is working towards becoming a licensed architect. He assists the team with Building Information Modeling (BIM), production of design documentation, and project coordination.
