As a member of IDS+A, Victor is a current graduate student in the architecture program at UNM. Prior to graduate school, Victor has over 10 years of experience working as a graphic designer for various different companies such as Microsoft and the University of Washington in Seattle. Victor is a strong supporter of culturally appropriate and sustainable design, especially with Native American tribes. He was raised on the Navajo Nation and knows and appreciates the culture and values that were instilled in his upbringing. Having served as the president of the American Indian Council of Architects + Engineers (AICAE) at UNM; he took advantage of opportunities for networking and gaining knowledge about the architectural and engineering fields for the members. Victor’s plans to continue his career in architecture with a focus to get professionally licensed.
