As a believer that working alongside communities can create spectacular architectural moments, Elder has been actively working alongside communities and the team at IDS+A to gain experience through working on a wide range of projects ranging from Master Planning, Education, Commercial and Governmental projects. IDS+A relies on Elder for key contributions in coordination and production of design documentation, BIM Modeling; a keen interest in rendering, writing and video production; and maintaining positive relationships with all team members and clients. Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to a Hispanic family, he received his architectural education from the University of New Mexico, becoming his families first generation college graduate. By receiving his Masters in Architecture Elder is rigorously seeking his architectural license as a means to practice his architectural beliefs to form a better and brighter community through intricate parametric and colorful works.
